Human & Civil Rights

Human rights arise simply by being a human being, while civil rights arise only by virtue of a legal grant of that right, such as the rights imparted on American citizens by the U.S. Constitution. Human rights cover virtually every area of human activity, including civil and political rights, which refer to a person’s rights to take part in the civil and political life of their community without discrimination or oppression.

Both human rights and civil rights protect against discrimination, injustice, and inequality. Civil and political rights form the original and main part of international human rights.

As a TEDx Speaker and Associate Certified Coach of the International Coach Federation, my life's mission is to positively impact the lives of youth and adolescent young men ages 18-45 who suffer the effects of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Emotional Intelligence (EQ) trauma deficiencies.

I am a Retired U.S. Army, Combat Veteran with over 20 years Active Service to our great country.  During my tour of duty in the military, I initially served as I Combat Medic in support of the warfighters on the frontlines of the battlefields that protect the most important interest of the American people.  I would later add an additional Skill Identifier to my career skill set after attending Battle Staff Training which would allow me to assist my Command in strategically tracking medical assets and their capabilities on the very same battlefields that I had supported earlier in my career.
